M Space Wins Four 1st Place Awards and Chief Operating Officer is Recognized for Industry Achievements
New York, NY - May 1st, 2009
M Space, a leading provider of modular buildings, received 4 first place awards at this year’s World of Modular Conference sponsored by the Modular Building Institute (MBI).
The MBI Awards of Distinction contest is the commercial modular industry's premier awards program. Each entry is reviewed by an impartial panel of industry and non-industry construction and code experts, architects, engineers and marketing professionals. Building entries are judged on architectural excellence, technical innovation, cost effectiveness, energy efficiency and calendar days to complete. Green building designs are judged on eight criteria, from comfort and energy strategies to economic practicality.
This year’s 1st place awards included: Green Building Design – Charlottesville Waldorf School in VA, Temporary Education 2,000 – 10,000 square feet – Full Service Schools of Jacksonville in FL, for the third year in a row, Temporary Education over 10,000 square feet – Montgomery Public Schools in AL and Marketing Piece – Print Media.
In addition to having projects recognized and honored, Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Deutschendorf, received the Outstanding Achievement Award. This award is given annually to one person for their exemplary contribution and service to the commercial modular building industry and to MBI.
"We looked on with great pride on awards night as Jeff accepted the 2009 award. We all appreciate how much Jeff has done to make M Space a success and an acknowledged leader in our industry."
- Alan M. Arsht, CEO.
