M Space Receives Five Awards of Distinction from the Modular Building Institute for 2008 |
The Modular Building Institute (MBI) recognized M Space, a leading provider of modular space solutions, with a number of awards at its recent annual convention in Bonita Springs, Florida. M Space received five Awards of Distinction in the categories of temporary modular and marketing projects completed in 2007. The awards honor innovation and design excellence within the commercial modular industry.
For the second year in a row, M Space won First Place in Temporary Education: Over 10,000 sq. ft. Having won the category last year, M Space continues to demonstrate its ability to handle large scale projects with demanding timelines. Also for a second year in a row, M Space won “Best of Show” in Marketing. This category reflects the vote of the members for marketing pieces they feel are the best in the modular building industry. |

Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast region on August 29, 2005 in little under 24-hours. Because commercial modular construction provides a quick and reliable building solution, the Modular Building Institute (MBI) became the clearinghouse for immediate space requests well in excess of 1,000,000 square feet. The primary request being forwarded by MBI to its commercial modular construction members was for temporary office space - to be used for relief efforts, government agencies, police forces, and health clinics. - read the full story
