Unit to the Bayou LaBatre Police Department.
Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast region on August 29, 2005 in little under 24-hours. Because commercial modular construction provides a quick and reliable building solution, the Modular Building Institute (MBI) became the clearinghouse for immediate space requests well in excess of 1,000,000 square feet. The primary request being forwarded by MBI to its commercial modular construction members was for temporary office space - to be used for relief efforts, government agencies, police forces, and health clinics. - read the full story
